14 years. Thousands of sessions.

We've coached Colorado youth athletes for 14 straight years.

ETHOS has spent 14 years building individualized training and nutrition programs for adults and athletes — and youth athletes have been part of that work the entire time. Our coaches don't hand out one-size-fits-all workouts. They measure, they plan, and they re-measure.

  • 14 years coaching athletes in Colorado
  • Individualized programs, never generic templates
  • Full-time coaches who know every athlete by name
  • Every athlete leaves with numbers and a next step

How we do it

Our 5-step process for building better athletes.

01

We Test

Every athlete gets real baseline numbers across speed, power, strength and endurance.

02

We Analyze

Coaches read the data and find the two or three limiters holding your athlete back.

03

We Plan

Your athlete gets an individualized program — not a group workout PDF.

04

We Execute

Coach-led sessions. Real cues, real technique, real work.

05

We Re-Test

We measure again. What worked stays, what didn't gets changed. Progress compounds.

Who this is for

For young athletes who want more.

Youth athletes, ages 10–18. This combine is for athletes who want to run faster, jump higher, get stronger, last longer and stand out to coaches. Every sport is welcome — football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, volleyball, hockey, wrestling, track.

Beginner or varsity starter, it doesn't matter. What matters is that they want to get better and they're willing to compete for 90 minutes.

What we test

The ETHOS Combine test.

Eight tests that cover power, speed, strength and staying power.

01

Vertical Jump

Lower-body power output — the cleanest read on explosiveness.

02

Broad Jump

Horizontal power and how well an athlete drives forward.

03

30-Yard Dash

Acceleration and top-end speed over a real sporting distance.

04

Plank

Trunk endurance — the base that protects the back and hips.

05

Dead Hang

Grip and shoulder endurance, a strong durability indicator.

06

Bench Press

Upper-body pressing strength for their age and size.

07

Pull-Ups

Relative bodyweight strength — pulling power that transfers.

08

Farmer Carry

Full-body strength under load, plus posture and grit.

What you walk away with

Numbers, not guesses.

  • Exactly how explosive your athlete is (vertical and broad jump)
  • How fast they really are over 30 yards
  • Where their upper-body strength stacks up for their age
  • How long their core, grip and posture hold under load
  • The 1–2 things they should focus on next
  • A clear next step if they want to keep training

Common questions

Answers for parents.

Does my athlete need to be fast or strong to come?

No. The combine is a starting line, not a tryout. Beginners and varsity starters test side by side, and every athlete leaves with their own numbers and next step.

Do they need to already train at ETHOS?

Not at all. The combine is open to any youth athlete in the Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Golden and Denver metro area, whether or not they've ever set foot in our gym.

What sports is the combine for?

All of them — football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, volleyball, hockey, wrestling, track and more. The eight tests measure qualities every sport rewards.

What should my athlete wear?

Athletic clothes they can move and sweat in, plus training shoes. No cleats or spikes needed.

Can parents watch?

Yes. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the whole session at ETHOS, 5161 Ward Road, Suite 4, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.

Will we get their scores?

Yes. Every athlete gets their results for all eight tests, plus a short coach read on what to work on next.

Is there a limit on spots?

Yes. We cap registration so groups stay small and every rep gets coached. Sign up early to hold a spot.

How long does it take?

Plan on about 90 minutes from check-in to results, including a coached warm-up before testing starts.

Where exactly is the ETHOS combine held?

At the ETHOS gym: 5161 Ward Road, Suite 4, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 — right off I-70 and Ward, minutes from Arvada and Golden.

Which eight tests will my athlete do?

Vertical jump, broad jump, 30-yard dash, plank, dead hang, bench press, pull-ups and farmer carry — measured in that order after a coached warm-up.
